The Sudanese government renews its commitment

Press Release

The Sudanese government renews its commitment to provide all facilities for the flow of humanitarian aid and everything that would help in the flow of this aid to those in need throughout the country..

In this context, the government agreed to open the airports of Kassala, Dongola, and Al-Abyad in addition to Kadugli Airport, which was agreed upon between the President of the Sovereignty Council and the President of the State of South Sudan.
Thus, are 6 airports available to international organizations in addition to 7 land crossings that were previously approved.
It is worth noting that effective contacts are taking place these days to start operating flights to transport humanitarian aid to South Kordofan State from Juba Airport to Kadugli Airport.

Thus, the government has met all requirements for the entry and flow of humanitarian aid by air, land and sea.
All these decisions come from the government’s responsibility and determination to alleviate citizens’ suffering.
The Government of Sudan calls on the international community to fulfill its commitments to provide in-kind and financial assistance, in addition to pressuring the rebels to stop their inhumane actions, such as arresting the organization’s staff or besieging and bombing civilians, as is happening for the third month in the city of El Fasher and other Sudanese cities.
